What happened
On 4 November 2026 (Reiwa 8), MIC published the results of the public comment period on the draft second report of its User Information Working Group, which covers a review of external transmission rules. Comments were collected from 20 August to 18 September 2026, 24 were submitted, and the final report was released alongside.
